D’ANGELO, Croce (nee Pera), age 81, of Garfield, died on May 24, 2013. Born in Campofranco, Sicily-Italy, she lived there for 41 years settling in Garfield 40 years ago. She was a homemaker, a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, and a member of the Sacred Heart Society, the Saint Anthony Society Women’s Auxiliary, the St. Ciro Society, and the San Pio Prayer Group all of Garfield. She is predeceased by her husband Giovanni Battista in 1995, and two brothers, Rosario and Calogero Pera. She is survived by two sons, Nicola and his wife Josephine, Raffaele along with Maria Duarte, two daughters, Caterina Murro and her husband Rocco, Angela Areché and her husband Dino, three brothers, Giuseppe, Angelo, and Salvatore Pera, a sister, Manuela Nicastro, and eight grandchildren, Liria, Fabbio, Claudio, Alessandro, Marc Anthony, Cristina, Stefania, and Giovanni Battista. The funeral is Wednesday, May 29, 2013, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
