While in England, Brenda worked as an insurance clerk. She also worked as a tailor at Michelmans’ and a sales clerk at Cindy’, both located in Brattleboro, VT. Upon moving to Florida, she worked as an engraver for Trophyland in Hialeah, FL, and eventually operated her own engraving business from her home.

She was a huge fan of the Miami Heat, Hurricanes, and Dolphins; love solving crossword puzzles (in ink); studying history, particularly of England; kept up with current and worldly affairs, and loved her flower garden.

The funeral is Saturday, June 29, 2013, with a 10 am graveside service at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society, Disabled Veterans, or a charity of your choice.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Aventura Hospice Care Center for their phenomenal support in her final days. Special thanks to Dr. Scott Goldberg and Dr. Donald Weed for the wonderful care they provided for our mother during her illness.
