KIRSTEUER, Rudolph Jr. “Rudy”, age 72, of Wanaque, died suddenly on July 11, 2013. He was born and raised in Garfield moving to Wanaque 3 years ago. He worked 30 years as a maintenance mechanic for Inmont Interchemical Company, Hawthorne, and then he worked 15 years as a plumber for the NJ Transit in Kearny, retiring in 2006. He was a parishioner of St. Stephen RC Magyar Church, Passaic, and he was a member of the Wanaque Travel Club and the S.M.W.I.A. – NJ Local 396. He is predeceased by his parents Rudolph and Katherine. He is survived by a son, Rudy III, a daughter, Kathleen Kirsteuer, his loving companion, Shirley Worth, and a sister, Catherine Heyn. Visiting Wednesday 7-9 pm. The funeral is Thursday, July 18, 2013, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at St. Stephen RC Magyar Church, Passaic. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
