SILVERMAN, Jeffrey Ray, age 60, of Cranford, N.J., died on April 9, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was raised in Levittown, N.Y., and moved to Cranford, N.J. about 15 years ago. He was a TSA supervisor, working at Newark International Airport, Newark for 10 years. Previously, he was a professional photographer, owning Silverman Photography in Keyport, N.J. He is survived by two brothers; Harvey Silverman and his wife Jean, and Eric Silverman and his wife Gail, and a sister, Debbie Silverman. Dear uncle of Dawn, Adam, Jonathan, Kristen and Justin, and great -uncle of Zachary, Trevor and Alana. Jeff was a people person who leaves behind many cherished friends. He also was an animal lover, leaving behind his cat Simone. Jeff was an avid collector: of 1950′s memorabilia, salt and pepper shakers, clocks, bobble heads, records, zippo lighters and electronic gadgets . Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, May 18,2014, at the Aloia Funeral Home from 2 to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the SPCA or a charity in Jeff’s name.
