MERCADANTE, Lisa M. (nee Goodell), age 42, of Garfield, died on June 3, 2014. Born in Paterson, she was raised in Clifton moving to Garfield 20 years ago. She was the owner and manager of the Medical Imaging Center in Clifton for the past 10 years, a parishioner of O.L. of Sorrows Church, Garfield, a class mother at St. Leo’s School, Elmwood Park, and former vice-president of the Home and School Association at Garfield School 4. She is survived by her husband of 8 years, John Mercadante, three sons, Frank John Mercadante, John Salvatore Mercadante, and Dante Joseph Mercadante, her parents, Peter and Marilyn Koczwara, her mother-in-law, Joan Mercadante, her sister-in-law and best friend JoAnn Rastatter, her brother-in-law Salvatore Mercadante, and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father-in-law Salvatore “Sam” Mercadante. Visiting Friday 5 to 9 pm. The funeral is Saturday, June 7, 2014, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
