CUSMANO, Felice, age 85, of Garfield, died on February 24, 2015. Born in Alessandria della Rocca, Italy, he lived there until 1962 when he moved to Hackensack for 6 years settling in Garfield 47 years ago. He first worked construction for 15 years with R.A. Hamilton in Hackensack, then 6 years as a processor for Kalama Chemical in Garfield, then he worked for the City of Garfield Water Department for 2 years, finally retiring as the custodian for the Garfield Police Department in 1986. He was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield. He is predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Paola Cusmano, and his brother, Giuseppe Cusmano. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Antonina (nee Cusmano), five children, Salvatore Cusmano and wife Theresa, Pauline Scaglione and husband James, Vincent Cusmano and wife Josephine, John Cusmano, and Phil Cusmano, a sister, Antonina Minnuto and husband Giuseppe, 10 grandchildren, Anthony and wife ToniAnne, Danielle and fiancé Jeremy, James, Nicholas, Michael, Gaetano, Giuliana, Hannah, Sienna, and Gabriella, and a great-grandson, Alexander John. Visiting Friday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Saturday, February 28, 2015, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
