AMATO, Riccardo “Rich”, age 67, of Woodland Park, died on November 13, 2015. Born in Termini Imerese, Sicily-Italy, he lived there for 17 years moving to Lodi for 27 years, Saddle Brook for 9 years, Elmwood Park for 10 years then settling in Woodland Park 4 years ago. He was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, and worked as an auto body painter for 40 years retiring from Rochelle Auto Body in Rochelle Park in 2012. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Esmeralda “Essie” (nee Cosentino), two sons, Phillip Amato and wife Melissa, and Richard Amato, a daughter, Jennifer Pizzuti and husband Anthony, a grandson, Anthony Riccardo, a brother, Giacchino Amato and wife Rita, and a sister, Benedetta Cosentino. He is predeceased by a brother, Francesco Amato, and a sister, Antonina Scro. Visiting Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Monday, November 16, 2015, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
