BRUNETTI, Lillian (nee Magda), age 60, of Hawthorne, died on January 12, 2017. Born in Passaic, she lived in Garfield for 33 years settling in Hawthorne 27 years ago. She was a librarian for 36 years working with the Englewood Public Library for 12 years, the Franklin Lakes Public Library for 13 years, and with the Mary Help of Christians Academy in North Haledon the past 11 years. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Garfield and St. Anthony’s Church in Hawthorne, and she was a member of the American Library Association. Loving wife of 35 years to Wally, dear sister of Elaine Leak and husband Donald, cherished aunt of Matthew, Philip, Jacqueline, Caitlin, Frank, Victor, Matthew, Sara, Leo, Tara, and Joseph, great-aunt of Vincent and Ava, and sister-in-law of Kathi (Frank), Louis (Kathey), Frank, Leo (Donna), Rory (Brian) and Jon. She is predeceased by her parents, Valentine and Stella Magda, and a brother, Richard Magda. Visiting Sunday 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Monday, January 16, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Mary Help of Christians Academy.
