Leander “Charley” Wunsch, Sr.

WUNSCH, Leander “Charley”, Sr., age 85, of Barnegat, died on January 28, 2017. Born in Genoa, Italy, he lived there 21 years, Garfield for 49 years, and Barnegat the past 15 years. He was a machine operator for 38 years with Arrow Fasteners, Saddle Brook retiring in 2002, he was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church in Garfield and St. Mary’s Church in Barnegat, and an avid fisherman. Loving husband of 60 years to Mary Ann (nee Calandriello), devoted father of Joanne D’Addetta, and cherished grandfather of Roxanne D’Addetta. He is predeceased by his son, Charles, Jr. in 2001. Visiting Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Thursday, February 2, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
