SZEWCZYK, Stanley J., Jr., age 70, of Fair Lawn, died on January 13, 2013. Born in Passaic, he lived in Lodi for 28 years and Fair Lawn the past 42 years. He was in the Army National Guard during the Newark Riots in 1967, and he worked for Thermo Electric Company, Saddle Brook, for 46 years retiring in 2008 as the supervisor. He is survived by two daughters, Renee Deschenes and Cheryl Szewczyk, his former wife, Barbara Cornell, a brother, Richard, a granddaughter, Amanda, and one great-granddaughter on the way. Visiting Wednesday evening 7-9 pm with an 8:30 pm chapel service. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting mass cards and donations to the American Cancer Society.
